Growing up, my mom always told me that if I loved what I did, I would never work a day in my life. Being a therapist and helping people through their journeys has proven this true for me.

About Lutricia A. Logan
Hi, I’m Lutricia A. Logan, a Master’s Level Therapist with over seven years of experience working with children and families. I earned my Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) and specialize in working with individuals with disabilities and vocational readiness. I have experience working with various populations, including women and young women struggling with anxiety, depression, self-image, and life goals/planning.
I have experience with working with parents and children through their acceptance of new diagnoses such as ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Bipolar Disorder, and Disruptive mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) while also helping to establish those parental skills that help with decreasing negative behaviors seen associated with a said diagnosis. In the past, I have also worked as an HIV/AIDS counselor and enjoyed assisting individuals in coping with initial diagnosis and adjusting in work and life relationships, where needed. Additional populations include those with substance use issues, homelessness, and people of color.
I am passionate about helping others identify their true purpose in life while leaning more toward a life of self-acceptance. I am dedicated to fostering lasting relationships with my clients and exceeding standards in rapport establishment and support in client-identified areas. In doing so, the approaches in counseling that I primarily use are Client-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I strongly believe in the client holding the compass and being the main navigator to their healing journey. As we work together, I will do my best to guide you in a direction aligned with your desires.
I look forward to working with you soon!
